Come with me to LA with Amazon Canada! They invited me to attend their Amazon spring favourites event. As soon as we landed in LA, we were whisked away to the luxurious Beverly Hilton Hotel where we checked in and received products from some of my favourite Amazon beauty brands, including Laneige, Sol De Janeiro, and Sulwhasoo. The hotel was incredible, and we explored the place before getting ready for dinner with the Amazon Canada Team.
The dinner was held at The Rooftop By JG, which offered breathtaking views of the sunset in LA. I enjoyed the lobster burger with a side of fries, which was delicious. After dinner, we headed back to the hotel to rest up for the big day tomorrow.
The first day of the Amazon Favourites event was jam-packed! We took an Uber to the Beverly Hills Hotel where we ran into Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker. The set-up was impressive, with one-of-a-kind onsite activations, a huge gift bag with PR, and informative panel sessions regarding the Amazon Influencer Program. I met many other influencers from all platforms, and we took some fun content. Later, we headed back to the hotel to rest and change for the next event, which was a TikTok panel with Alix Earle and Girl Boss Town.
After the panel, we had a sunset soiree where we got to network and dance. The last day in LA was the cherry on top of an already fantastic trip. I went to Urth Caffé with Medge (@myvoguishdiaries), where I got a French Toast with green juice. Later, we went to the final event, which was a panel with Paris Hilton. I was lucky to get a front-row seat, and Paris Hilton gave us her new book, a sparkly pink water bottle, and a charcuterie board. We also had some free time after, so we went back to the hotel to pack and relax before heading to Catch LA, where we enjoyed the lobster mac and cheese and the catch roll.
Overall, this trip was incredible, and I met many influencers and built some fantastic connections with brands. I am grateful to Amazon Canada for inviting me and organizing such a memorable event.
